Last season’s Big 12 Player of the Year, Oklahoma’s Buddy Hield, has is the preseason choice of the conference head coaches as the Player of the Year again for this coming season.
The senior from the Bahamas was also a unanimous selection to the Preseason All-Big 12 First Team, joining three other repeat All-Big 12 First-Team honorees from the end of the 2014-15 season.
Joining Hield on the preseason first-team All-Big 12 squad are returnees George Niang of Iowa State, Perry Ellis of Kansas and Baylor’s Rico Gathers. Isaiah Taylor of Texas was also voted to the preseason All-Big 12 team.
