Oklahoma built a 20-point first-half lead and were never really headed after that as the Sooners rolled to a 95-72 victory over a game but – this season, at least – genuinely overmatched TCU squad. Buddy Hield became more like one of the guys in this one, contributing 17 points along with five other Sooners who reached double figures.
The Sooner superstar had just two buckets after halftime and none of the three-point variety. A rare off-night for the front-runner to earn National Player of the Year honors this season.
