The Sooners brought plenty of star power to the Rose Bowl.
In addition to Heisman winner Jason White and former head coach Bob Stoops on the sideline, actor Brad Pitt was in the stands at the Rose Bowl rocking an OU shirt.
Pitt is a native of Shawnee, but he hasn’t lived in the town since he was a baby. His family relocated to Springfield, Missouri, shortly after his birth.
His grandmother, Betty Russell, lived in Shawnee, and Pitt came back to visit her a couple times — including a trip in 2008 with then-girlfriend Angelina Jolie.
