New Oklahoma assistant head coach for the offense Shane Beamer is getting a pretty good salary bump with the Sooners.
Beamer, who made $300,000 as Georgia's special teams coordinator and tight ends coach, is set to make $435,000 annually with a two-year contract. The contract is up for approval in Wednesday's Board of Regents meeting.
At Oklahoma, Beamer will coach tight ends and H-backs. He'll also assist Jay Boulware with the special teams.
Prior to joining OU, Beamer made coaching stops at Georgia, Virginia Tech, South Carolina and Mississippi State.
Beamer isn't the only OU football coach with a contract up for approval on Wednesday.
