Knee pain has hampered senior forward Ryan Spangler since early January.
The lingering pain disappeared Wednesday night, however, as Spangler led No. 3 Oklahoma to a blowout Bedlam victory.
"Before the game, there was no pain in my knee," Spangler said. "I felt a little bouncy, so I knew it was a going to be a good game. I took my time on that first shot, saw it go in and got a little confidence going."
That confidence sparked a career night for the senior from Bridge Creek, Okla. Spangler finished with 26 points, 14 rebounds and two blocks for a double-double performance against the unranked Cowboys.
