Roy Finch has never doubted his football skills.
The former Oklahoma all-purpose back, now with the Calgary Stampeders in the Canadian Football League, has excelled in his first full professional season in the CFL. He improved on his top-notch speed and suburb football IQ, and he continues to line up anywhere on the field; running back, slot receiver, kick returner and special teams gunner.
But after brief 2014 appearances with the New England Patriots' training camp and the Ottawa Redblacks, Finch discovered there were no teams in either league interested in his services.
Finch never considered giving up on football, but his young career had abruptly reach a crossroad.
