Reports: Oklahoma defensive line coach Diron Reynolds will not return in 2016

Defensive line coach Diron Reynolds will reportedly not return next season to Oklahoma.

The OU assistant spent only one season with the Sooners, but multiple reports indicate Reynolds will leave the program and is reported to be headed back to Stanford.

No official confirmation has been made, but freshman defensive tackle Du'Vonta Lampkin alluded to a setback today for the Sooners and his position group.

Reynolds left Stanford for Oklahoma a year ago when former defensive line coach Jerry Montgomery left OU for a small role with the Green Bay Packers.

Whoever takes Reynolds' position will inherit plenty of young defensive linemen, including Matt Romar, Charles Walker and Lampkin.
