NORMAN — After being absent from the program this summer, Oklahoma running back Kennedy Brooks is expected to return to the team Wednesday, The Athletic reported.
The site reported that Brooks would return following the conclusion of a Title IX investigation that saw him suspended from summer activities. The university’s Title IX office ruled in Brooks’ favor, the site said, after a female OU student made an allegation of physical violence by Brooks.
The news came the same day Brooks was named to the first-team Preseason All-Big 12 team.
Brooks came on strong last season, rushing for 1,056 yards and 12 touchdowns as a redshirt freshman.
