Former Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray didn't waste time hiring a football agent.
Murray officially announced he is focusing on becoming an NFL quarterback on Monday, and has quickly moved on to the next step: Hiring an agent. Murray used super agent Scott Boras for his baseball negotiations, but needed to hire someone well-versed on the football side of things.
According to a report from Jason La Canfora, Murray is signing with Erik Burkhardt of Select Sports Group.
If that name sounds familiar, it might be because Burkhardt represented fellow Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel when he first entered the NFL.
