Two DFW basketball standouts are on the move this summer, transferring from the colleges they played on as freshmen.
Now Rockwall's Austin Grandstaff, who played with Mitchell briefly at Ohio State before transferring to Oklahoma, is headed to DePaul, according to ESPN's Jeff Goodman.
Grandstaff's journey has certainly been unorthodox considering he played 10 games with Ohio State before deciding to transfer, transferred to Oklahoma where he didn't get to play at all with NCAA transfer rules and is now headed to DePaul in Chicago.
DePaul has no players with connections to the Dallas-area, or even Texas.
