KANSAS CITY, Mo. — With concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic rising, the Big 12 Conference has decided to limit access to the men's and women's tournaments after the Wednesday night games.
Commissioner Bob Bowlsby made the announcement Wednesday evening just before Oklahoma State and Iowa State tipped off in the first game of the tournament.
Bowlsby said teams will be given a 125 tickets to for their games and the tournament will be emptied between games. He also said they will work on a refund process for fans who already bought tickets.
"It's been an interesting day with a lot of decisions," Bowlsby said.
