Remington Park's annual Kentucky Derby Hat and Bowtie Contest will be Saturday from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. in the track's clubhouse level.
In the hat competition, ladies compete for the title of best overall and a $500 prize. They also compete for $150 top prizes for best ensemble, best historical period, most creative and most elegant.
Men will compete for the $150 top prize in best tie. In all, more than $3,000 in prize money will be handed out to contestants who will also receive a complimentary photo.
There is no fee to enter but contestants must be 18 or older to participate.
