Greg McElroy has been busy since leading Southlake Carroll to the Class 5A state title.
He helped Alabama win the SEC Championship title in 2009 (MVP) and another en route to the national title (14-0) in 2010. In addition to finishing his college career with a 24-3 record, he was named ESPN/CoSIDA Academic All-American of the Year (2010).
It took McElroy three years to earn his degree in business marketing, so he went on to nab a Master of Science degree in sports management, posting a 4.0 GPA in the process. A Rhodes Scholarship finalist, McElroy was a cerebral quarterback if ever there was one.
