Putnam City Schools has one more addition to its inaugural Athletics Hall of Fame class.
Former Putnam City star Alvan Adams will be inducted, district athletic director Dick Balenseifen told The Oklahoman.
Adams was initially voted in by the committee, receiving the max points. But officials were unable to reach Adams, who is currently the Phoenix Suns’ vice president for facility management.
Balenseifen finally reached Adams on Thursday and confirmed his presence for the induction on Friday.
“It was a no-brainer,” Balenseifen said. “It was just an issue we had to work through to get him here.
