Oklahoma’s spring game on Friday was enlightening in a number of areas on the depth chart. With spring ball in the rearview mirror, here’s a projected depth chart before the Sooners take on summer workouts:
Offense
Quarterback: 1 - Jalen Hurts; 2- Tanner Mordecai
Alabama grad transfer Jalen Hurts was always likely to win this job, but that became even more apparent in the spring game. Hurts was accurate and poised in front of 50,000+ people on Friday night, and Mordecai was not.
Running Back: 1 - Trey Sermon; 2 - Kennedy Brooks
This is unchanged from last season.
