Trae Young, a prized five-star prospect from nearby Norman North High School has been heavily recruited by a number of major college programs, including Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Kentucky, Kansas the University of Washington and Texas Tech, where his father went to school.
Young is currently undeclared, but he reportedly has narrowed his choice down to three schools: OU, Kansas and Oklahoma State. He says he will make his decision known this coming Thursday.
“He hasn’t made a decision yet,” his father, Rayford Young, told Nick Schwerdt of KLWN Radio earlier this week and reported by the Lawrence Journal-World.
