When Oklahoma slugger Jocelyn Alo hit a shot to the moon on her first at-bat against Florida, it continued a trend of college softball's best hitters smashing home runs.
Throughout the first four sessions of the Women's College World Series, 16 home runs were smoked beyond the outfield walls, giving fans and families souvenirs and memories while sparking rallies and creating momentum on the field. Alo slammed two homers Saturday, which helped her tie the NCAA single-season freshman home run record. Former Sooner Lauren Chamberlain hit 30 home runs in 2012.
Florida led all teams with six blasts through the first four sessions.
