An airplane carrying the traveling party for the Cal State Bakersfield men's basketball team as it makes its way to Oklahoma City has made an emergency landing in Las Vegas, according to multiple reports.
The exact reason for the emergency landing is unclear. It's being described as a medical emergency to one of the members of the traveling party, but is said to not involve any of the team's players or coaches.
Oklahoma is scheduled to play Cal State Bakersfield in the opening round Friday at 3 p.m.
