NORMAN — For the last four years, Paige Parker and her dad, Terry, have shared the same winter break routine.
Each day when Paige was home from Norman, the pair would pile in Terry's car for the 15-minute drive to The Dugout, an indoor practice facility in the Kansas City suburbs.
Once inside, Terry would flip a bucket upside down, slide on a glove, and take a seat as he prepared to catch Paige's pitches for an hour.
It mirrored the same kind of practice they've been doing since Paige first started to pitch at 9 years old.
