Overturned targeting call saves Texas Tech's Vaughnte Dorsey on a career night

Between his first and second interception in the first quarter, Texas Tech safety Vaughnte Dorsey had to wait out a targeting review. Dorsey was called for targeting on a hit against Oklahoma's Grant Calcaterra after a 25-yard reception. The penalty was reversed upon replay review. Dorsey's interceptions of Kyler Murray on Oklahoma's first two series helped Tech build a 14-0 lead midway through the first quarter. Dorsey also had five tackles in the first half, including another hard hit on Calcaterra in the second quarter.

-- Texas Tech starting linebacker Dakota Allen played with a heavily padded broken hand, after suffering the injury last week, and also suffered a left knee injury in the first half.
