Jordan Thomas, who was suspended last week before Oklahoma's game against Tulsa, has spent this week trying to get out of the doghouse.
The sophomore defensive back is expected to play next week against West Virginia. The Sooners are off this week.
"He came back to work on Monday," secondary coach Kerry Cooks told The Tulsa World. "I hoping he's learned his lesson. Obviously we've got a long season. But I think he's getting the message. Anytime you miss a gae, I think that speaks volumes to not just him but to the rest of the team.
