Rickey Dixon and Leslie O'Neal are among the 75 former players on the 2017 College Football Hall of Fame ballot.
Dixon, the former Oklahoma standout safety, was a consensus All-American in 1987 and the winner of the Jim Thorpe Award as the top defensive back in college football.
He finished as the Sooners' leader in interceptions in a season (nine) and ranked second in career interceptions at the school with 17.
Dixon was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis in 2013.
O'Neal was a two-time first-team All-American for Oklahoma State, including earning unanimous honors in 1985.
