Mustang’s John Wiley will stay close to home for his college wrestling career.
The junior has committed to OU, the Mustang wrestling program announced Friday on its Twitter account.
Wiley is one of two Mustang wrestlers who intend to compete for the Sooners. Senior Tate Picklo signed with OU in November and will join his older brother, Cam Picklo, in the program.
Wiley is a two-time Class 6A state champion. He won the 126-pound title as a freshman and was the 145-pound champion last year. He helped the Broncos place second at the dual state tournament in Enid and the state tournament in Oklahoma City last season.
