The sophomore junior-college transfer (College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita, California, near Los Angeles), caught a career-high six passes for 155 yards on Saturday, including an 87-yard touchdown pass from backup quarterback Kyler Murray. The touchdown pass, Brown’s first in a Sooner uniform, was the fifth longest in OU’s storied football history and the second longest on Owen Field.
All but 14 of Brown’s 155 receiving yards (141) came after halftime, That represented the most receiving yards all-time by an OU player in the second half. His 155 receiving yards was a season high for an Oklahoma receiver through three games this season.
