NORMAN — Almost exactly one year ago on the Lloyd Noble Center floor, the Oklahoma women's basketball team exorcised some serious demons by beating Baylor for the first time in five years.
So when iconic, fiery coach Kim Mulkey and her top-5 squad return to the LNC on Monday night, they might not seem quite as scary as they did before.
But with a 27-1 record and another Big 12 championship seemingly on the horizon, Mulkey's team still represents a daunting challenge for any opponent, much less one with the consistency problems Oklahoma has shown over the last couple of months.
