NORMAN — The OU women's basketball team fell to Kansas 83-80 in a back-and-forth game that featured 16 lead changes and 16 ties Wednesday night at Lloyd Noble Center.
Madi Williams had an efficient performance for the Sooners (12-15, 5-10 Big 12), who have lost five straight games. The 6-foot sophomore made 9 of 12 shots and finished with 23 points. Ana Llanusa scored 22 points.
Tina Stephens had a double-double for Kansas (14-12, 3-12), scoring 11 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. Aniya Thomas led the Jayhawks with 21 points.
OU struggled from 3-point range, making just 4 of 15 shots from behind the arc.
