NORMAN — Maddie Manning had 15 points and seven rebounds on Thursday night to help Oklahoma rout Brigham Young 73-47 in a women's basketball game before 3,849 fans in Lloyd Noble Center.
OU, coming off a stunning home loss to North Texas, didn't let the same thing happen against the Cougars. The Sooners (2-1) jumped to a 26-17 lead in the first quarter and led 40-25 by halftime.
The Sooners shot 58.6 percent from the field in the first half and 45.8 percent for the game. Peyton Little had a game-best 21 points for Oklahoma. Little was one of four players to score in double figures for the Sooners.
