NORMAN — Entering the fourth quarter of No. 20-ranked Oklahoma's 78-63 win against Iowa State on Wednesday night, it appeared redshirt senior Peyton Little might go scoreless for the first time all season.
OU's leading scorer was struggling from the field and had missed all five of her shot attempts through the first three quarters.
But with her team's once-double digit lead evaporating to just five points, Little fired from beyond the 3-point line at the top of the key and picked up her first points of the game.
A couple minutes later, she caught the ball on the wing, faked a shot and buried another triple as the Iowa State defender ran toward her, the close out coming just a few seconds too late.
