NORMAN — In the midst of a difficult last season, Ana Llanusa became a bright spot for Oklahoma’s women’s basketball team after she returned from a foot surgery that kept her out for 10 games.
As the Sooners returned to practice Monday looking to rebound from last year’s 8-22 season, the junior from Choctaw is finally fully healthy.
“It’s just amazing how good of a basketball player she is when she is healthy,” Sooners coach Sherri Coale said. “We watched her, and she was a really good player last year, our leader, had to have her on the floor, our go-to.
