NORMAN — Jocelyn Alo made it look easy Wednesday night when she sent a ball flying 295 feet over the left field wall.
The ball looked like it would go on forever. It sailed clear past the Sooners’ 200-foot wall and over the fans and dogs in attendance for Bark in the Park. It was the seventh home run of the season for the junior outfielder, but the bomb she hit didn’t feel like work at all.
“It felt really effortless,” Alo said. “... I feel like I didn’t even try to swing, that kind of thing.
