Oklahoma third baseman Sydney Romero, second baseman Caleigh Clifton and pitcher Giselle Juarez have been named first-team NFCA All-Americans, the National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced Wednesday.
A program-record six Sooners earned All-American honors, the most of any school this season.
Outfielders Falepolima Aviu and Jocelyn Alo were named to the second team. Freshman first baseman/designated player Grace Green was named to the third team.
Clifton was one of seven unanimous first-team selections. The Wayne native collected career highs with a .419 batting average, 17 home runs and 49 RBIs.
