A day before opening the Women's College World Series against Baylor, three OU softball players picked up individual honors.
Junior Paige Parker and sophomores Caleigh Clifton and Shay Knighten were all named to the NFCA All-America Second Team.
Parker, who is 23-5 this season with a 1.29 ERA, picked up her third All-America honor after earning a spot on the first team last year and on the second team after her freshman season. The Big 12 Pitcher of the Year just the fourth OU player to earn All-America honors in each of her first three seasons, joining an exclusive club that consists of Jessica Shults, Keilani Ricketts and Lauren Chamberlain.
