Former Carl Albert fastpitch softball standout Audrie LaValley announced Sunday night on Twitter she is transferring from Oklahoma to Arkansas.
LaValley, a sophomore, appeared in 37 games last season. She served primarily as a pinch-runner and scored 16 runs.
LaValley committed to OU after a breakout freshman season at Carl Albert. She played shortstop for the Titans and finished her high school career with a .528 batting average.
LaValley’s brother, Gavin, is in the Cincinnati Reds organization. Her cousin, Carter, plays baseball at OU. Carter’s sister, Zadie, is a senior at Carl Albert and recently signed to play softball at Baylor.
