OU receiver Dede Westbrook subjected to racial epithets before trespassing charge

NORMAN—Oklahoma wide receiver Dede Westbrook complied with police and was subjected to racial epithets before he was charged with criminal trespass on May 23, according to a police report released Wednesday.

According to the report, police were called to a house in Cameron, Texas, with the caller stating that there was a male in her house who was not supposed to be there.

When officers arrived, they found a car belonging to Brenda Vega blocking the driveway so that Westbrook’s truck could not leave.

The driveway was described as being in a “narrow opening” in the fence.
