OU quarterback Baker Mayfield arrested in Arkansas

OU quarterback Baker Mayfield was arrested in Fayetteville, Arkansas in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Mayfield, a 2016 Heisman finalist, was arrested by Fayetteville police for public intoxication, disorderly conduct, fleeing and resisting arrest. He was arrested at 2:56 a.m. Saturday morning, and is still in custody according to the Washington County (Ark.) Jail website.

"We are aware of the matter and are learning the details. We don't have any other information at this time," Mike Houck, Oklahoma team spokesman said.

Mayfield is due in court on April 7, according to the Washington County website.
