The University of Oklahoma has so far resisted adding beer sales at his sporting events — at least outside of premium seating areas.
University of Oklahoma President Jim Gallogly brought up the issue Thursday during the OU Board of Regents meeting in Tulsa.
Gallogly said he planned on bringing a recommendation to the board soon. The board's next scheduled meeting is in late October.
Athletic director Joe Castiglione recently said the department had been studying the issue.
Oklahoma State began selling beer this season, selling 4,125 beers during its season opener against Missouri State and reporting no alcohol-related incidents.
