The University of Oklahoma's ROTC program has planned several events leading up to OU's game against Army next Saturday, and one of those involves president Jim Gallogly jumping from a plane.
Gallogly will be one of several prominent OU figures who will participate in tandem skydive jumps with the Black Daggers, a U.S. Army Special Operations Command parachute demonstration team.
The jumps are planned for Friday. They will take off from Max Westheimer Airport in Norman and land in a field near Lloyd Noble Center.
Other notable jumpers include: OU provost Kyle Harper, regent Leslie Rainbolt-Forbes, softball coach Patty Gasso, football strength coach Bennie Wylie,OUPD chief Kent Ray, SGA president Yaseen Shurbaji, Cadet Nick Morris from OU ROTC and ROTC alum Keith Huffman.
