During Tuesday evening’s Sooner Caravan in Oklahoma City, senior center Ty Darlington was asked about his close friend and roommate, OU quarterback Trevor Knight.
Knight was the 2014 Sugar Bowl MVP against Alabama, but has also fought through injuries and struggled with consistency, which is why he’s competing with Baker Mayfield and Cody Thomas this fall to hold onto his starting job.
“It’s been tough for me to watch at times,” Darlington said. “It’s been so exhilarating during the highs, and when he’s gotten hurt or had struggles I’ve hurt for him. He’s such a great man and a person.
