Oklahoma senior Andrew Harris and junior Spencer Papa will compete for the NCAA Men’s Tennis Division I Doubles Championship in Athens, Georgia, on Monday.
Harris and Papa defeated No. 4-ranked duo Skander Mansouri and Christian Seraphim of Wake Forest in the NCAA semifinals round on Sunday to advance to the national championship match. Harris and Papa are the first Sooners to make the NCAA final in either doubles or singles in program history.
Oklahoma clinched their semifinal match in a superbreaker after the OU tandem split sets one and two with Wake Forest’s Mansouri and Seraphim, winning 12-10.
