NORMAN — The Oklahoma men's gymnastics team is on the path toward a second consecutive national championship.
Ranked No. 1 in the country, the Sooners are hosting No. 2 Stanford in their home finale at 5 p.m. Saturday inside McCasland Field House. The contest represents the final home meet for OU's three seniors, all of whom took interesting, difficult paths to get to this point.
“I think that they've overachieved and exceeded my expectations to some extent,” said OU coach Mark Williams. “None of them were tremendously heralded as athletes coming in.”
Sergey Resnick is perhaps the best example of that.
