NORMAN — Oklahoma beat UCF 53-52 to snap a two-game losing streak.
The Sooners led 53-48 with 1:21 left, but UCF rallied back to within one. UCF’s Dre Fuller Jr. shot a 3-pointer as time expired and missed, giving Oklahoma the narrow win.
Oklahoma coach Lon Kruger went with a slightly different lineup this game, starting junior guard Alondes Williams over freshman guard De’Vion Harmon. Williams finished with 3 points and 4 rebounds while Harmon had 5 points and no rebounds in the game.
UCF had the lead for the majority of the game until Harmon hit a 3-pointer with 11:42 left to put OU up 41-40 and give the Sooners their first lead of the game.
