NORMAN — Brady Manek ran back on defense looking down and shaking his head.
The junior forward had just missed a layup late in the first half against Kansas. He tried to rebound and tip the ball in. Missed again. One more try at a tip, this time fighting more Kansas defenders — missed again.
Manek, who was a big part of the Sooners last two home wins against Kansas, struggled Tuesday night as Oklahoma fell 66-52 to the No. 6-ranked Jayhawks. Manek averaged 17.5 points the first two times he played Kansas at home but scored just 10 points in this meeting.
