NORMAN — After trailing at half time, Oklahoma beat Maryland Eastern Shore 91-64 on Thursday night.
The Sooners (5-0) let the Hawks (0-6) hang around in the first half. Oklahoma had built a double digit lead, but kept letting UMES claw back. The Sooners dominated in the second half, though, thanks in part from the energy from their bench.
Oklahoma’s bench combined for 33 points in the win, including 13 points from freshman Victor Iwuakor alone. But senior Kristian Doolittle led the team and was perfect in the game, recording 18 points while shooting 100 percent on the night.
