NORMAN — OU beat No. 13 West Virginia 69-59 on Saturday in a much-needed win for the Sooners.
The win was OU’s first against a ranked opponent so far this season, and got the Sooners back to an even record in conference play.
Kristian Doolittle led the Sooners with 27 points, his second best scoring performance this season. The senior forward got started earlier, scoring OU’s first six points.
While the Sooners put together a complete game, the Mountaineers struggled to make shots. West Virginia shot 31.6% from the field, while Oklahoma shot 44.9% in the win.
