LAWRENCE, KAN. — Sometime late in regulation or early in the first overtime of last year's game at Kansas, Jamuni McNeace remembers looking over at Matt Freeman on the bench.
“This place is LIT,” McNeace remembers telling his Oklahoma teammate, not that there's much chance Freeman heard it with 16,300 people in stands.
OU's visit to Lawrence last season was one of the classic regular-season college basketball games in recent memory.
The Jayhawks won 109-106 in triple overtime.
