Kristian Doolittle knew he'd broken his nose as soon as he touched it.
It was early in the second half against Oklahoma State on Saturday. Doolittle took an elbow to the face while defending a layup and had to come out of the game.
"I realized when I put my hand on my nose. It wasn't straight anymore," Doolittle said.
The senior forward will be wearing a face mask for OU's game against Texas Tech on Tuesday. This is the first time Doolittle has ever broken a bone.
He played with a mask during the Sooners' practice on Monday to get a feel for it, but he won't have his custom fitted mask until Tuesday.
