OU has a 36.1 percent probability to win its first round matchup against West Virginia.
Basketball analyst Ken Pomeroy tweeted Saturday night the probabilities for each team in the Big 12 to win each round and win the championship. Kansas is the favorite, with 55.5 percent probability to win it all, according to Pomeroy.
In addition to the Sooners' 36.1 percent chance to make it past the first round, OU has 2.7 percent probability to win the Big 12 Championship, according to Pomeroy.
OU hasn't won its first game in the Big 12 Tournament since the 2015-16 season when the Sooners made it to the semifinals before losing to West Virginia.
