OU men's basketball: Jamal Bieniemy, De'Vion Harmon ball managment against West Virginia a positive going forward

NORMAN — De’Vion Harmon found Jamal Bieniemy in the corner on a fast break.

Bieniemy shot the 3-pointer, and, as it went in, the crowd at Lloyd Noble Center erupted into cheers. The announcer in the arena matched the energy of the fans, holding the call on “Jamal” for 12 seconds before West Virginia called a timeout.

Bieniemy’s 3-pointer gave the Sooners a 17-point lead and a made free throw from Harmon 2 1/2 minutes later gave OU it’s biggest lead of the game over the No. 13-ranked Mountaineers.

“I just knew that was a big shot, and we just had to keep playing,” Bieniemy said of his 3-pointer.
