NORMAN — Oklahoma will play Texas-Rio Grande Valley on Monday night before starting Big 12 men's basketball play.
The Sooners still have one regular season nonconference game left later in the season (Mississippi State), but UTRGV will be Oklahoma’s last chance to prepare for its conference opponents.
Here’s what to watch for in the game:
1. Will Sooners get more points from Harmon, Williams?
Oklahoma coach Lon Kruger started junior Alondes Williams in place of freshman De’Vion Harmon in the Sooners’ last game against Central Florida. Kruger said after the game he made the change to give Oklahoma a scoring boost, but Williams ended up being ineffective in the game.
