Cal State Bakersfield applied full-court pressure on Oklahoma for much of Friday's NCAA Tournament opener.
The Roadrunners' press wasn't nearly as effective as West Virginia's last week in the Big 12 Tournament, and a big part of that was senior forward Ryan Spangler.
Spangler helped the Sooners out to several quick points, especially in the second half of Oklahoma's 82-68 win, by coming back near midcourt to receive long outlet passes and then quickly recognizing his teammates breaking toward the basket.
